Everything we have found wrong in the data behind our results, what it meant for anyone reading the site, and the evidence we used to settle it.

What is on this page

Lottery operators publish the winning numbers. We publish them back to you, and to do that we keep a record for every game of when it draws, in which timezone, how many balls it uses and what range they fall in. When that record is wrong, results reach you late, incompletely, or not at all.

These are corrections to that record — not to winning numbers. Where an operator's own published result and this site ever disagree, the operator is right. Always check a ticket against the official source before claiming a prize.

44 corrections across 35 games, from a full reconciliation carried out on 10 September 2026. Every game was checked against the operator's own published information and against 60 real recorded draws, rather than trusting either source on its own. Two terms recur below: the operator is the state lottery that runs the game, and our results feed is the commercial service we buy draw data from.

Ended games shown as current 8

These games had stopped drawing, but our results feed keeps serving the final draw indefinitely. We were showing a months-old result as though it were the latest one. Their pages now say the game has ended.

Wrong ball format 11

We had the wrong number of balls or the wrong number range. A result that failed the resulting check was withheld rather than shown, so these pages published nothing.

  1. New York Lotto NY

    Now 6 numbers from 1–59, plus 1 bonus number from 1–59

    Registry had bonusCount 0, so every fetch threw the adapter ball-count guard and the page published nothing. NY LOTTO draws a Bonus Number as part of the base result.

  2. Wild Money RI

    Now 5 numbers from 1–38, plus 1 bonus number from 1–38

    Registry had bonusCount 0; the Extra Ball is part of the base draw, not a paid add-on, so the adapter guard rejected every result.

  3. Bonus Match 5 MD

    Now 5 numbers from 1–39, plus 1 bonus number from 1–39

    Registry had bonusCount 0 for a game whose name is literally Bonus Match 5. The Bonus Ball is drawn nightly as part of the base result.

  4. Pick 4 (Evening) IL

    Now 4 numbers from 0–9, plus 1 bonus number from 0–9

    The FIREBALL number is drawn and published with every Pick 4 result, so the vendor always returns it and the adapter guard rejected the draw while the registry said bonusCount 0. Note it IS an optional paid add-on for the player: it is included because Illinois publishes it as part of the posted result, not because every ticket uses it.

    Evidence illinoislottery.com Master Draw-Based Game Rules (V.2025.11.16): Pick 4 draws a four-digit number 0000-9999; the FIREBALL number is drawn alongside and posted with the result. Vendor catalogue: additionalNumbers = [{name: fireball, minBall 0, maxBall 9, playerPicked false}].

  5. Colorado Lotto+ CO

    Now 6 numbers from 1–40

    The scrape recorded POWERBALL's format (5 of 1-69 plus a 1-26 bonus) against Colorado Lotto+, so every fetch would have thrown the adapter ball-count guard.

    Evidence Vendor catalogue id 45 declares 6 drawn of 1-40 with no additional numbers, and the real draw of 2026-09-09 returned exactly six numbers in range: 13, 15, 16, 20, 21, 29.

  6. Keno MI

    Now 22 numbers from 1–80

    Registry said 10 balls; Michigan Keno draws 22.

    Evidence Vendor catalogue id 225 declares 22 drawn of 1-80, and the real draw of 2026-09-10 returned 22 numbers in range: 2, 8, 9, 16, 17, 20, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 31, 41, 42, 45, 49, 54, 62, 63, 70, 72, 75.

  7. MyDaY NE

    Now 3 numbers from 0–99

    Registry said one ball of 1-12 plus a bonus; MyDaY draws three numbers (a month/day/year style result).

    Evidence Vendor catalogue id 268 declares 3 drawn of 0-99 with no additional numbers, and the real draw of 2026-09-10 returned three numbers: 10, 5, 92.

  8. Pick 10 NY

    Now 20 numbers from 1–80

    Registry said 10 balls because the player PICKS ten; the draw itself is twenty numbers.

    Evidence Vendor catalogue id 306 declares 20 drawn of 1-80, and the real draw of 2026-09-10 returned 20 numbers in range: 9, 14, 23, 24, 32, 33, 38, 41, 50, 54, 57, 59, 62, 64, 67, 69, 71, 76, 77, 79.

  9. Megabucks Doubler MA

    Now 6 numbers from 1–44

    Registry carried the PRE-2024 format, 6 of 1-49. Massachusetts cut the pool to 44 in 2024, so the registry was stale rather than wrong-at-capture. The site's own page already printed 6 (1 - 44); this makes the registry agree with it instead of the other way round.

    Evidence masslottery.com/games/megabucks: "Select six numbers between 1-44. You can select the numbers manually or choose Quic Pic for the Lottery computer to randomly select your numbers." The change is independently reported by WWLP (2023-11-07): "The amount of numbers to choose from will be reduced from 49 to 44, which will increase the odds of winning from 1 in 54 to 1 in 39.3." Note the operator now lists the game as plain Megabucks; /megabucks-doubler 404s on masslottery.com.

  10. Pick 4 Midday MO

    Now 4 numbers from 0–9

    Registry said 3 digits for a game called Pick 4. The entry is paused and unsourced, so nothing ever checked it against a real draw; its own evening twin, which IS vendor-backed, correctly carries 4.

The Midday drawing is at approximately 12:45 p.m. and the Evening drawing is at approximately 8:59 p.m." Sibling mo-pick-4-evening (active, vendor id 249) already carries balls=4.

  11. Mega Millions US

    Now 5 numbers from 1–70, plus 1 bonus number from 1–24

    Registry and all 45 pages carried a 1-25 Mega Ball, the PRE-April-2025 format. The pool was cut to 24 when the game moved to a $5 ticket with a built-in multiplier, so this was stale rather than wrong at capture — and once the Quick Picks generator was restored it began emitting a Mega Ball of 25, which cannot be played.

    Evidence megamillions.com/How-to-Play.aspx: "Players may pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers - five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Ball) - or select Easy Pick/Quick Pick." The same page prices the ticket at $5.00 "with a multiplier included", which is the change that brought the pool down.

Wrong draw days 12

We believed these games drew on different days than they actually do, so on the real draw days we were not looking for a result.

    Fix round 3: paused by build-seed.mjs (C1/I3) because Florida's games_table lists both Fantasy 5 Midday and Fantasy 5 Evening but its schedule table has only one unlabelled 'Fantasy 5' row, and the generator correctly refuses to guess which sibling it belongs to. A direct vendor query resolves the ambiguity for real: game-list's Fantasy 5 Midday entry is a daily (7-day) draw, matching the single scraped row exactly.

Known, not yet resolved 1

We found a disagreement here and could not settle it against a source we trust. Rather than pick the likelier-looking value and present it as fact, we have left it alone and said so.

    Scraped drawTime 21:00 vs vendor game-list 20:00, and the vendor's own past-draws-dates rows disagree with each other (11:00 and 10:00) — smells like a timezone confusion (Montana is Mountain time), but no source here is trustworthy enough to pick a value from. Left as-is; needs a human to resolve, not a guess.
