How to Claim Puerto Rico Lottery Prizes

Important: There are no options avaialble to redeem your prize via mail. All claims need to be carried out in person through one of the following options:

Claim up to $1,200

  • Method 1 – Visit your nearest authorized retailer with your winnig ticket to claim in person.
  • Method 2 – Visit the Puerto Rico Lottery Headquarters having made an appointment prior to your visit. Bring with you any requested documentation to make your claim in person.

Between $1,200 and $25,000

  • Method 1 – Visit any of the Departamento de Hacienda offices in the directory below within business hours to make your claim.
  • Method 2 – Make an appointment by calling the Puerto Rico Lottery Headquarters and visit when convenient bringing with you any documentation and ID requested.

More than $25,000

  • Method 1 – Call the Lottery HQ to make a booking whenever convenient. Claims of this amount can only be carried out in person at the HQ address. You will be advised on what information and identification is needed.
