How to Claim Kansas Lottery Prizes

Claim up to $599 win or free plays

  • Method 1 – Claim at any Kansas Lottery retailer no matter where you bought the ticket. Some stores may have restrictions on cashing larger prizes or limited cash availability.
  • Method 2 – You can claim prizes of $50 or more at Kansas Lottery headquarters in Topeka using a required claim form in person or by mail.
  • Method 3 – Mail your signed ticket along with a completed claim form to the lottery HQ address.

Claim over $600 up to $5,000

  • Method 1 – Fill out a claim form and submit it along with your signed ticket to the Kansas Lottery office via an appointment. You can claim prizes up to $5,000 and receive a check on the same day.
  • Method 2 – Send a completed claim form along with your signed ticket to the HQ.

Claim more than $5,000

  • Method 1 – Schedule an appointment and submit your winning ticket along with a completed claim form and requested ID to the Kansas Lottery office. Payments for such claims cannot be issued on the same day so you will receive your payment via mail, in-person pickup or electronic deposit to your bank account.
