With one of these set to expire as soon as January 22 the lottery officials are urging players to double-check their tickets and claim their winnings before time runs out.
The unclaimed prizes start from a minimum of $10,000 and include a staggering $1 million Powerball prize.
The lucky ticket holder of the soon-to-expire $10,000 prize purchased their Match 4 ticket at the Super Lucky store located at 19105 Bothell Way NE in Bothell.

How to Claim?
To claim these prizes winners should visit one of the regional offices of Washington’s Lottery before 5 p.m. on the day that their ticket expires.
The offices, located in Everett, Federal Way, Kennewick, Olympia, Spokane, and Vancouver are open to the public from Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Those lucky enough to possess tickets worth $100,000 or more are advised to call the nearest Lottery office to arrange a secure in-person claim.
Claim Period
It is important to note that winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prize. If the ticket is a Scratch ticket the 180-day countdown begins from the last day of ticket sales.
WOPA
Per the state’s law any prizes that remain unclaimed after the stipulated period are added to a reserve account. In June each year the reserve account’s surplus is transferred to the Washington Opportunity Pathways Account (WOPA).
WOPA plays a crucial role in supporting education in Washington State helping college students across the state achieve their dreams and fostering early childhood education programs.
